Overview
Replyly helps users rewrite, improve, and analyze messages using on-device intelligence and cloud-based AI services.
We aim to minimize data collection and give users control over how their text is processed.
Information You Provide
When using Replyly, you may provide:
- draft messages
- selected text
- tone preferences
- relationship profiles
- usage preferences
- feedback or support requests
This information is used only to provide Replyly features and improve app reliability.
Private Mode
Private Mode uses on-device processing where supported by your device and operating system.
Text processed in Private Mode is not sent to Replyly servers for AI generation.
Some local settings, preferences, and usage metadata may still be stored on your device.
Smart Mode
Smart Mode uses cloud-based AI services to generate rewrites and responses.
When Smart Mode is enabled, the following information may be securely transmitted:
- selected text or draft message
- tone/style selections
- optional relationship profile context
- language and generation settings
This data may pass through secure infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, and may be processed by third-party AI providers used by Replyly.
We use this information solely to:
- generate requested responses
- prevent abuse
- maintain service reliability
- enforce usage limits
We do not sell your personal data.
Data Retention
Most Replyly history, preferences, and saved content remain stored locally on your device.
Limited backend logs or request metadata may be temporarily retained for:
- abuse prevention
- debugging
- reliability monitoring
- legal compliance
Retention periods may vary depending on operational or legal requirements.
Keyboard Extension
Replyly Keyboard operates within Apple's keyboard extension framework.
The keyboard may access:
- text you manually enter
- selected text
- nearby text context provided by iOS
You control keyboard permissions, including "Allow Full Access," through iOS Settings.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions and payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Replyly does not receive your full payment information.
Children's Privacy
Replyly is not intended for children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information transmitted through the app. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information through Smart Mode.
Your Choices
You can:
- use Private Mode where supported
- disable Smart Mode
- delete local app data by removing the app
- manage keyboard permissions in iOS Settings
